Kevin’s Hope is dedicated to helping those who are suffering from addiction and in need of support on their recovery journey. Kevin’s Hope is also about educating those around us on a disease that is too-often stereotyped and stigmatized.
Kevin’s Hope was created in memory of Kevin, a brother and son who lost his painful battle with addiction on June 23, 2015. Having grown up with Kevin, we know that an addict is not solely defined by his/her addiction, and we want to share a piece of that with you.
Those who were blessed to have known Kevin, knew of his unyielding love for family, friends, animals, music, extreme sports and photography. Kevin had a heart of gold. If you needed a hand, he would give you two. If you needed two hands, he would give them both to you along with the shirt off his back. Kevin had a servant’s heart and a selfless love.
And it’s because of that, we feel a need to carry on his legacy by donating educational scholarships to those who have battled addiction and are on the road to recovery. Kevin always found renewed purpose in the continuing of his education and we hope, that in the same way, others might find their purpose along with freedom from addiction.
“I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well.” Psalms 139:14
God has a purpose for you.
Will you choose to accept it?
